It’s common knowledge in the industry that Casting Directors have a limited amount of time to browse an actors CV, for this reason it’s imperative that when they look at your showreel they can see and hear you clearly and are gripped within the first 5-10 seconds.
Our showreels are designed to bridge the gap between a self-tape (the most common form of auditioning) and professionally shot footage from a TV series/film.
Whether you’re an experienced actor with professional footage or a complete beginner with no footage; it’s key to your success to have a reel that showcases your best work. Lee Lomas specialises in finding actors USP (unique selling point) and drawing these qualities out in your performances.

Prepare your material of 2 minutes max per scene (we do not provide scripts).
Shoot Day: We will shoot 2-3 angles; a variety of mid shots and close ups. In a 30 minute session you would expect to get roughly 5-6 takes in total – this is just a guideline and we will work to get the best possible result on the day.
Edit: your material will be edited together to create the best 90 seconds – 2 minutes worth of material from the shoot.

You are expected to bring your own scene partner for Duologues or we can provide an actor from our Studio for an extra fee. Please note: your scene partner will only be featured from the back and is there to help showcase your ability to listen and respond during a scene.
A non-refundable 50% deposit has to be paid on booking with full payment required a week before the shoot. You can move your shoot date up until 48 hours before your shoot at the cost of 25% of the overall fee. Any cancellations within 48 hours will result in loss of full fee, reschedules within 48 hours will result in loss of deposit.
